Lacoste menswear was founded in 1933 by Rene Lacoste and Andre Gillier.
They produced the revolutionary Tennis shirt which Rene made famous on the tennis court.  Known across the world for its distinctive Crocodile motif.
The company has expanded over the years to house a wide selection of high end clothing, shoes and accessories.

About Us

The business has been in the family for four generations, Robert Scaife opened the Withernsea shop in 1910, his son Herbert took over in 1920, then in 1963 David took on the business until 1996 when his daughter Julia came onboard and opened a shop in Scarborough, where the business is now based. Our online store opened in 2012.
